MAN UNITED NEWS: Mourinho called Ronaldo, Messi blocks £130m move, huge Griezmann update

Jose Mourinho reportedly called Cristiano Ronaldo to apologise for comments he made about his international career with Portugal.

Spanish outlet Don Balon claim Mourinho told the Real Madrid star he would not win anything at international level until he was Portugal boss.
But Mourinho was proved wrong at last summer’s European Championships with Ronaldo’s Portugal beating France in the final to claim silverware.
And the report claims Mourinho rang the 32-year-old immediately after the final to apologise for his comments and congratulate Ronaldo.
Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi is reportedly thwarting Manchester United ‘s attempts to sign Jordi Alba.
Mourinho is apparently keen on signing the Spain international left-back as he looks to bolster his defensive ranks this summer.
But Spanish publication Diario Gol claim Messi is trying to stop Alba leaving due to concerns over Barca not being able to find a replacement for him.
The report adds Alba has a release clause of £130million.

Antoine Griezmann insists he is happy at Atletico Madrid amid interest from Manchester United.
United boss Mourinho has made Griezmann his No 1 summer transfer target and is prepared to trigger his £86m release clause to bring him to Old Trafford.

But the France international has once again reiterated his desire to stay at Atletico.
“My future? I only care about what happens on the pitch,” Griezmann told French TV Station Telefoot .
“I am happy in Madrid. Nothing changes.”
