The 35-year-old Swede, who joined the squad on July 1 last year, played 46 official matches for the team, led by Jose Mourinho, who also scored 28 goals.

He has won the League Cup, Community Shield and the European League with his teammates. The previous contract expired on 30 June.
Last season, due to injury of his knee did not conclude on soccer greens, he should only return to December. "After all that he gave us in the previous season, he deserves our trust. We can not wait to return," said Mourinho.
